The Student Services staff, in conjunction with the Librarian, can help students in researching career directions. The Student Services weekly newsletter circulates job and internship opportunities amongst current full-time students. The Library features various publications that offer career advice and periodicals that contain local, national and international opportunities.
Professional Development Workshops feature art professionals who offer presentations on a range of practical topics for working artists. These seminars are designed for full-time enrolled students, to help them prepare for life after school. During the fall and spring semesters, students will be introduced to valuable information that will help them navigate their place in the art world during and following their studies. Each seminar will cover one topic and include detailed information regarding that topic. Guest speakers from different backgrounds will also be invited to speak, when possible
Students are exposed to working artists, critics and scholars in conjunction with the School’s Evening Lecture Series.
