Xavier F. Salomon is the Peter Jay Sharp Chief Curator at The Frick Collection, New York. He is an expert on Venetian art of the sixteenth century and especially on the painter Paolo Veronese. He is currently working on the catalogue of Spanish paintings at The Frick Collection.
