Johannesburg-based artist William Kentridge is internationally acclaimed for his drawings, films, theatre, and opera productions. His work has been seen at Tate Modern in London, Jeu de Paume and Louvre in Paris, La Scala in Milan, Albertina in Vienna, Metropolitan Opera NY, MoMA NY, among many more. Kentridge’s The Refusal of Time was made for Documenta in 2012 and has been shown across the world. His production of Alban Berg’s opera Lulu premiered in Amsterdam this summer and will travel to the Metropolitan Opera NY in November.
