Michael Brenson is an art critic and art historian. His publications include Visionaries and Outcasts: The NEA, Congress, and the Place of the Visual Artist in America, and Acts of Engagement: Writings on Art, Criticism, and Institutions, 1993-2002. His biography of David Smith, David Smith: The Art and Life of a Transformational Sculptor, will be published by Fararr, Straus and Giroux in fall 2022.
Eyal Danieli studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem and The New York Studio School. He is the recipient of a Pollock Krasner award in Painting, a NYFA award in drawing, and a residency award from the lower East Side Print-shop. He has had one-person exhibitions at MoMA PS1, at The Martin Kudlek gallery in Cologne, Germany; and various group exhibitions in Europe and Israel. Eyal is represented by Elizabeth Harris Gallery, NY.
