Born in 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas, Sedrick Huckaby received his BFA from Boston University and his MFA from Yale University. His work is in numerous collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the MFA, Boston, and SFMoMA. Awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship, Joan Mitchell Foundation Award, and Louis Comfort Tiffany Grant. Huckaby teaches at The University of Texas at Arlington and is represented by Valley House Gallery, Dallas.
