Novelist and Emmy-winning screenwriter. Seidman, whose new novel, Moments Captured, is loosely based on the life of Eadweard Muybridge (1830-1904), will speak about the photographer’s trotting horse images, the invention of the motion picture projector in 1879, and the technical breakthroughs that enabled Muybridge to become the first to capture motion in photographs. Moments Captured will be published by The Overlook Press in November 2012.
