Mike Olin was born in Pasadena, California, raised in San Diego, and has lived and worked in Bushwick, Brooklyn since 1999. Olin’s paintings challenge our notion of a single reading. The work is an embrace of abstraction and landscape with narrative possibilities and invite the viewer to approach and absorb the work in a variety of ways. Olin has shown his work throughout New York City and internationally for two decades. He is currently represented by Peninsula Art Space in Manhattan and Michael David and Co. in Brooklyn.
