Xico Greenwald (Moderator): Brooklyn-based artist, writer and teacher. Assistant Professor of Art, Borough of Manhattan Community College, NY and Visiting Instructor, Pratt Institute, NY. He writes regular criticism for the New York Sun and has contributed essays and exhibition reviews to numerous publications including artcritical.com, The Epoch Times and Painters’ Table.

 

 

 

 

 

Jules de Balincourt: Brooklyn-based artist who has exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoMA PS1, the Brooklyn Museum, and White Columns in New York; MASS MoCA; the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao; Mori Art Museum, Tokyo; Palais de Tokyo, Paris; and the Shanghai Museum. Represented by Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery, Paris; Victoria Miro, London; and Salon 94, New York. His work is currently the subject of a retrospective at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Julie Heffernan: Brooklyn-based artist. Professor of Fine Arts, Montclair State University, NJ.  Member, National Academy Museum, NY.  She is the recipient of numerous awards including a MacDowell Fellowship, National Endowment for the Arts Grant, and a Fulbright-Hayes Grant. Currently represented by PPOW Gallery in New York, Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco, and Mark Moore Gallery in Los Angeles.

 

 

Kyle Staver: Brooklyn-based artist. Recent solo-shows   include Tibor de Nagy, NY, 2013; John Davis Gallery, Hudson, NY, 2013; Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, 2011; and Lohin Geduld Gallery, NY, 2010. Recipient of the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award and the Benjamin Altman Figure Prize, National Academy Museum, NY.
