Judy Rifka, Paul Resika, Ro Lohin and Eyal Danieli on Esteban Vicente: The Palette and the Picture

Judy Rifka: Moderator. New York-based artist. Exhibitions include Tony Shafrazi Gallery; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Documenta 7, Kassel ; and Whitney Biennials of 1975 and ’83. Work included in public collections such as the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Studied at the New York Studio School with Esteban Vicente.

Paul Resika: Painter, represented by Lori Bookstein Fine Art. Work shown throughout the States and internationally, with solo shows at Salander O’Reilly Galleries, NY; James Graham and Sons, NY; Hackett Freedman, CA; and Lori Bookstein Fine Art, NY. Public collections include the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Natioanal Museum of Art. Taught at the New York Studio School with Esteban Vicente.

Ro Lohin: Painter and gallerist. Director since 2003 of Lohin Geduld Gallery, NY, where shows have included exhibitions of work by Nicolas Carone, Charles Cajori and Ruth Miller among others. Paintings featured in numerous exhibitions, including a recent solo show at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, NY. Studied and worked at the New York Studio School with Esteban Vicente through the early 80’s.

Eyal Danieli: New York-based artist, represented by Elizabeth Harris Gallery, NY, and Kudlek van der Grinten Gallerie, Cologne. Awarded the New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship in Printmaking/Drawing/ Artists’ Books and the Key Holder Resdency at the Lower East Side Print shop. Studied with Esteban Vicente at the New York Studio School in the late 80’s.
