Born in Morocco and educated in Marseille before moving to Los Angeles, Gerard Mossé received his MFA in painting from the Claremont Graduate School of Art in Los Angeles. He moved to New York in 1987 where he still resides. His work has been exhibited locally and internationally.  He is represented by the Marlborough Gallery, where his one person show is on view in conjunction with this lecture.
