Drawing upon art historical sources and Eastern and Western decorative traditions, Fred Tomaselli is a Brooklyn-based Californian artist whose recent work was the subject of a solo project at the Modern Art Museum, Fort Worth, TX, January – March, 2014. In 2010, a twenty-five year survey of Tomaselli’s work originated at the Aspen Art Museum, CO, then traveled to the Tang Teaching Museum, Saratoga Springs, NY, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Tomaselli is represented by James Cohan Gallery, NY and White Cube Gallery, London.
