David Humphrey: On His Work

A New York-based artist, Humphrey is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Rome Prize, among other awards. Recent exhibitions include a 2014 solo show at Fredericks & Freiser, which represents the artist in New York. An anthology of Humphrey’s art writing, Blind Handshake, was published by Periscope Publishing in 2010. He teaches in the MFA programs at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.

A one-person exhibition of David Humphrey’s work is planned for January 2015 at the University of Hartford, CT.
