New York-based painter. Solo shows include exhibitions at Gladstone Gallery, NY; Alte Gerhardsen, Berlin; White Cube, London; Gagosian Gallery, Beverly Hills, and a retrospective at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York in 2002. Work represented in the Whitney Biennials of 1985, ’91 and ’95, and in public collections including the Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Modern Art, and the Tate Gallery in London.
