Brenda Goodman was born in 1943 in Detroit, Michigan where she studied at the College of Creative Studies and was a part of the Cass Corridor movement, before moving to NY in 1976. Currently represented by Sikkema Jenkins Gallery, she has exhibited regularly in NY as well as in major cities throughout the U.S. Her work has been included in the Whitney Biennial in 1979 and the American Academy of Arts and Letter invitational in 2015. 1991 National Endowment for the Arts
