Breehan James: On Her Work

Born and raised in the Fox River Valley of Wisconsin, Breehan James’s paintings portray her experiences exploring the wild places of the North and the people connected to them. She received her MFA from Yale University and BFA from Massachusetts College of Art. Solo shows include Larissa Goldston Gallery, NYC, and Tory Folliard Gallery, Milwaukee. James lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, and Boston, MA, where she teaches at Boston University.
