Barry Schwabsky is art critic for The Nation and co-editor of international reviews for Artforum as well as editor of a new series of monographs on contemporary painters, published by Lund Humphries in London. His new book is a collection of critical writings, Heretics of Language (Black Square Editions, 2017). Other recent publications include The Perpetual Guest: Art in the Unfinished Present (Verso, 2016), Vitamin P3: New Perspectives in Painting (Phaidon Press, 2016), and a collection of poems, Trembling Hand Equilibrium (Black Square Editions, 2015).
