Susan Grace Galassi ““Aun Aprendo” (I am still learning): Goya’s Culminating Years in Bordeaux (1824-28)”

Susan Grace Galassi earned her Ph.D. from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, with a dissertation on Picasso. In 1991, she joined the curatorial department of The Frick Collection. During her tenure, she co-curated numerous exhibitions on such artists as Whistler, Manet, El Greco, Picasso, Turner and Zurbarán, among them a show with Jonathan Brown on Goya’s late work. She has lectured widely in the United States and abroad. In 2019 she was named Curator Emerita.
