Shauna Marley

Painting Technician

Shauna Marley is a painter based in Brooklyn NY. She received her BFA from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in 2011 and graduated with an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2014. Prior to accepting her position at NYSS, Shauna worked for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she held a supervisory role in Visitor Services & Information. Her work has been exhibited in New York City, Pittsburg, and Philadelphia, most recently as a part of “Rhythm Garden” at Geary Contemporary NYC. Shauna was named Visiting Artist at Millersville University for the Fall 2021 semester.  She has curated multiple group exhibitions, including “Invisible Selves” also at Millersville University. At the New York Studio School, Shauna teaches Techniques & Practices in addition to her role as Painting Technician.
