Sam Nichols
Studio Coordinator, Instructor
Sam Nichols received his MFA in Art Practice from The School of Visual Arts, his BFA in Sculpture from the Cleveland Institute of Art and studied at the Milton Avery Graduate School of Art at Bard College. He has exhibited in both solo and group shows at the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art (now the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art), Klein Artworks, Vedanta Gallery, Manifest Gallery, The Evanston Art Center, Genovese Sullivan Gallery, and Pulse Miami Beach during Art Basel Week. His teaching experience includes: the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, University of North Carolina, Columbia College, Evanston Art Center, and Haywood Community College in Professional Craft. He has also participated as a visiting artist at the Penland School of Crafts, the University of Illinois, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College, and Parkland Community College. Originally from rural Ohio, Nichols is currently based in New York.
