Sam Levy is a Brooklyn based painter working from direct perception with the landscape and figure.
Sam has exhibited with The Painting Center, NY; John Davis Gallery, NY; Sweet Lorraine Gallery, NY; The Bowery Gallery, NY; Union Gallery, Wagner College, NY; and Real Tinsel Gallery, Milwaukee, WI. In 2015, Sam participated in the Jentel Artist Residency, WY, and he was The Ah Haa School of the Arts, Telluride, CO, Annual Benefit Honoree. In 2023, Sam was awarded a Hohenberg Faculty Travel Grant from the New York Studio School to study ancient frescoes in Pompeii.
