Linda Darling received a BA from the University of California, Berkeley and an MFA from Yale University School of Art, New Haven, CT and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, ME. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Awards and residencies include the Alice Kimball Traveling Fellowship, Anderson Ranch Arts Center Snowmass Village, CO printmaking resident, The Watkins Award, New Langdon Arts, San Francisco, CA and Maybell Toombs Award. Her work is held in multiple public and private collections including the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, MA
