Judy Glantzman

Artist

Judy Glantzman lives and works in New York City.  She is represented by the Betty Cuningham Gallery in New York City.

She graduated Rhode Island School of Design, with a BFA, in 1978.

Judy Glantzman first exhibited in the East Village in the 1980’s, represented by Civilian Warfare and Gracie Mansion Galleries, and has exhibiting widely, with previous representation by Blum Helman Gallery and Hirschl and Adler Modern, in New York City. Most recently she has had solo exhibitions at the Betty Cuningham Gallery, New York City, Jaffe-Fried Gallery, Dartmouth College, the John Davis Gallery in Hudson, New York, University Gallery, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, and a thirty-year retrospective at the Dactyl Foundation in New York City.

Judy is a recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, Anonymous is a Woman Award, the New York Foundation for the Arts in Painting, and the Pollock Krasner Foundation.

Her work is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of Art, Tampa Museum, the Phoenix Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Weatherspoon Art Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Frye Museum in Seattle, the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, as well as in many public and private collections.
