NYSS faculty member Jilaine Jones studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and at the College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Solo exhibitions include New York Studio School, Salander-O’Reilly Galleries and Paul Mellon Art Center. Her work was also included in 2016 DeCordova Biennial and outdoor sculpture exhibitions at Chesterwood. Jones has received a Connecticut Commission Fellowship for Sculpture and a Pollock/Krasner Foundation Grant. She has participated in residency fellowships such as Triangle Arts Association, Heliker-LaHotan Foundation, MacDowell Colony, Edward Albee Foundation, Haystack School of Crafts, and Yaddo.
