Jenny Lynn McNutt

Jenny Lynn McNutt received her MFA from Yale School of Art and received the Helen Winternitz award.
Among her solo shows in New York are Emily Sorkin, Florence Lynch, Galerie Witteveen, Amsterdam, Academy Center of the Arts, VA, Art 101, Galapagos Art Space, Robert Pardo Gallery, Galerie Le Bateleur, Rome, Galerie Essaadi, Tunisia, Museum for Contemporary Art, Ivory Coast. Group shows in China, Europe and North Africa, US include Shaanxi Tongchuan International Art Center, China, Galerie Zurcher, the Maier Museum, VA, Warhol Museum, Sideshow, Galerie Essaadi, Exit Art, The American Gallery, and Hilyer Gallery, Smith College.
At Taoxichuan Jingdezhen International Studio, China McNutt was twice a guest artist. Other residencies include European Ceramic Center, EKWC and M4gastatelier, Netherlands, Kriti Gallery/Residency, India, Virginia Center for Creative Arts, Valparaiso, Spain, Harwood Museum, and The Fine Arts Work Center. Among awards/grants are American Academy of Arts and Letters Invitational and Purchase Prize, Mercedes Matter/Ambassador Middendorf, NYSS, William T. Hillman Foundation, Rothman grant & NYFA. She was a Fulbright Fellow to West & Central Africa and for her documentary work in West Africa, received an Eastman Foundation Grant. She has taught in the US, France & West Africa.
