Catherine Lepp is a Brooklyn-based artist. Originally from Sheffield in the U.K., she graduated from Manchester Polytechnic with a B.F.A in painting. She is an alumnus of the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture certificate program and the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture summer residency. Lepp’s recent work explores the mystery and mesmerizing color of landscapes inhabited by introspective figures in an intense world created from paint, light and memory.
