Catherine Lepp
Adjunct Faculty
Catherine Lepp was born in Sheffield, United Kingdom. She has lived in New York City since graduating from Manchester Polytechnic with a BFA with honors in painting in 1989. Lepp resumed her studies in 2001 at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture. She has been awarded numerous scholarships and attended residencies at Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in 2004 and the Vermont Studio Center in 2005.
Catherine Lepp presented a new work in a solo exhibition A Second Body curated by Karen Wilkin for Equity Gallery, in March 2025. Her previous solo show, The Swimmer Series, 2007–2021, was presented in September 2021 at the Mark Borghi Gallery in Sag Harbor, and the East Hampton Art Fair in 2025, New York.
Lepp teaches in the Fine Arts Department at Fashion Institute of Technology, the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture, and Mount Gretna School of Art.
