Received his BFA and MFA from the University of Minnesota. He is represented by Cheim & Read Gallery, NY. Solo exhibitions of his work include shows at Danese, NY; Josloff Gallery, Santa Monica; Nielsen Gallery, Boston; Grob Gallery, London; Margo Leavin Gallery, LA; The Philips Collection, DC; MoMA, NY, and Fischbach Gallery, NY. Works of his reside in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and numerous others.
