Course Description

 The class will focus on a painterly exploration of the figure, employing observations of color, drawing and composition whilst converging perception with the fundamentals of abstraction through visual and art historical research. Each week we will explore painting fundamentals: including the importance of the grid, your color palette and color mixing; composition and scale, shapes and mark-making, while relating what we are seeing into a painting experience.
