Student Shows

The Student Gallery is organized and run by students, and gives them the opportunity to see their work outside the studio in a different, independent context while presenting it to their peers and the public. Shows can feature finished works or works-in-progress, and are framed, curated and hung by the students themselves.
Students are also responsible for publicizing the show, mailing invitations and hosting an opening reception. The work is discussed in a seminar held in the gallery, conducted by the exhibiting students.
Exhibitions are usually two-person shows, although group exhibitions from painting and sculpture ateliers may also be featured as part of the program. Exhibitions are generally available to students who have studied at the School for more than one year.
