The NYSS Alumni Association is testing a new format for listing alumni news!   All registered NYSS Alumni are eligible to submit an announcement. Not Registered? CLICK HERE

Once a month, submissions using the online webform will be collected. UP TO FOUR announcements will be highlighted on the ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT page of the NYSS website each month.  Featured announcements will be chosen by random and will include an image provided by the alum, a link to their website and a detailed listing. Additional submissions will receive a listing without an image.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: the 25th of each month

GUILDELINES FOR SUBMISISONS

1)      Only registered alumni submissions will be considered. To register click here

2)      Announcements are limited to solo or group exhibitions, residency or other awards, publications (reviews, interviews, etc) and open studio announcements.

3)      Submissions will ONLY be accepted using the online webform.  CLICK HERE

4)      Only one submission per alum/month

5)      Exhibitions featuring more than one alumni must be submitted individually.

6)      Submissions should not be made more than 30 days prior to opening

7)      Image submission must be jpeg and should not exceed 72 dpi or 600 pixel width. Files should be named LASTNAME.jpg

8)      In lieu of an image, publication announcements can include a pdf of the article. Please list the name of the publication on the webform in the Venue Name field.

9)      Open Studio and Residency announcements will only receive a listing – do not include an image, they will not be considered.

10)   It is recommended that your website include more detailed information about your exhibition, award or publication.

11)   SUBMISSION DEADLINE: The 25th of each month.

12)   The Alumni Association reserves the right to not list submissions at its sole discretion.
